YieldTraxProduct DefinitionYieldTrax map is a field level product showing the spatial distribution of yield. Appropriate medium or high resolution satellite imagery shot for current or previous years is used to generate the map. Based on several years of research by RESOURCE21, YieldTrax product provides growers with the information they need to take their crop management to the next level. Product Use ModelYieldTrax can be imported into a Handheld PC along with a GPS for field scouting. The customer uses this map to identify regions of low yield and to direct scouting to these regions to obtain additional information. The map can also be imported into a GIS along with other field data for advance analysis and understanding of factors affecting low productivity areas within the field. Product ValueGrower recognize that yield in their fields varies significantly. YieldTrax product help growers gain an understanding of yield variability in their fields without the expense or maintenance of a yield monitor, thus, helping growers make the most profitable management decisions. The product greatly aid in input management for fertilizer, herbicides, and pesticides. Growers can decide (1) if grid sampling is justified, (2) how much yield loss could be prevented with better drainage and (3) if less consistent irrigation is hurting yields.
