EarthMap Solutions (EMS) information products are focused on three primary industries:

  3. environmental monitoring.
  Demand for the company’s products is being driven by complementary technologies, e.g., geographic information systems (GIS), the global positioning system (GPS), crop yield monitors and variable rate application equipment.

For example, in the agricultural segment, EMS products can map the high- and low-yielding areas in a production field.  A grower can load an EMS AgroWatch map into a hand held GPS unit and navigate to the various yielding areas within the field (management zones) to collect samples for nutrient and pest analysis to determine the cause for yield variation
